Apex Legends: Mobile |
It has been nearly two years since EA announced its intention to develop Apex Legends: Mobile for smartphones, and launched a closed beta version, during which time some information about the expected game appeared, until EA announced a week ago its intention to launch the final version of the game, but announced today that it will postpone it until March 7.
Since it's been a few days since the game was released, if it's not officially postponed, we'll have to highlight some of the things we hope to see in the much-anticipated game.
Map design and world details:
One of the biggest advantages of the original Apex Legends game is the distinctive and clear mapping design, as well as the world full of details, whether in the classic phase or the 3 Vs 3 phase, these features are strengths compared to other Batttle Royale games on phones such as PUBG: Mobile and Fortnite.
Motion mechanics and easy control:
Apex Legends is one of the most fast-controlled games and smooth motion mechanics, and that's what we hope to see in the phone version, it's great that at least most of these movements, such as jumping and sliding, are maintained, and easy ways to control them must be provided.
Apex Legends' diverse characters with special abilities:
Because apex Legends is difficult on pc and home platforms, it will be more difficult on phones because of the small screen size and touch-based control. Therefore, several characters must be provided with special capabilities, including Bloodhound, an impact and hunting expert, Crypto, a surveillance and penetration expert, Gibraltar defense and armor expert, lifeline, an ambulance expert.
Upgrade special stages and events:
Apex Legends has always been characterized by a very large number of stages that have reached 500 stages from only 100, which is what we will see in the phone version where the number of stages will not be less than 100 as in PUBG: Mobile. The game is also characterized by many events, and this thing will often be preserved in the phone version as well.
Scene mode and re-show matches:
Setting scenes and re-showing matches are two advantages required for Battle Royale games, especially for smartphones. Spectator Mode means that the player watches the other players, team mates or enemies inside matches, and his friends in other games without him, and the advantage is important so that the player does not get tired of waiting for his friends until the end of the game.
Replaying matches means that the player watches part of the game to see how he was killed, whether from an enemy perspective or from an overhead perspective, to discover the cheating methods used by some players, both features available in some Battle Royale games on phones such as PUBG: Mobile.
Good graphics and high frames:
Most Battle Royale games support resolution settings at several levels up to HD resolution and sometimes higher than FHD, support good graphics, especially for water, sun reflection and shadows, and many hot dogs provide accuracy and good graphics such as Genshin Impact and New State: Mobile.
Many phone games also support high frames of up to 60FPS, but there are 90FPS games such as PUBG: Mobile, but it should be noted that the originally leading phone hardware does not allow for the highest resolution, graphics and tires together, but always frames in exchange for sacrificing them, and vice versa.
Control arm support:
We mentioned earlier that Apex Legends is difficult and requires fast control and smooth movements, and phones can only achieve this if they are the type of games dedicated to games such as ROG Phone, Blackshark, Redmagic and Legion, so the phone version should provide support for the control arm, especially Xbox Core, Dualsense and Switch Controller, preferably with presets ready settings for controls, and no objection to supporting other third-party accessories.
These are the seven most popular things we'd like to see in Apex Legends: Mobile, if all or most of these things are available in the game, it'll inevitably be one of the best Battle Royale games for phones, and it'll be one of the most popular games in eSports, and we'll see in the coming days and weeks what happens!
